Organic and Biodynamic Red Meat

Red meat can be classified as organic when it is produced without artificial chemicals; fertilisers, herbicides, pesticides, growth promotants or hormones and when animals roam freely, grazing on natural pastures.

Biodynamic farmers use biological soil preparations to build soil life and health, encouraging the vitality of the plants and animals that live in and on it. Again, no artificial chemicals are used.  Both organic and biodynamic red meat meets rigorous criteria overseen by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) and a system of accredited inspection agencies.
