Mouth watering Tandoori lamb chops are a great hit using any lamb chop or lamb leg steaks

Ingredients

Lamb Barnsley Chop Double loin chop 8 16 32
Sweet paprika   16gr 32gr 64gr
Garam Masala   8gr 16gr 32gr
Coriander ground 10gr 20gr 40gr
Tumeric ground 10gr 20gr 40gr
Cayenne pepper   2gr 4gr 8gr
Salt   5gr 10gr 20gr
Garlic crushed 10gr 20gr 40gr
Ginger grated 5gr 10gr 20gr
Greek Yogurt   1/2 cup 1 cup 2 cups
Lemon juice   15ml 30ml 60ml
         

Preparation

Butcher – Preparation/Method

  1. Combine spices and salt in a medium bowl. Add garlic, ginger, Greek yoghurt, and lemon juice, and stir well.
  2. Coat chops evenly with tandoori paste, and transfer to a tray or platter for display. Garnish with fresh parsley or coriander, if desired.

Customer – Instructions for Preparation

  1. Remove tandoori chops from the refrigerator 20 mins before cooking.
  2. Preheat a heavy-based skillet or bbq to medium. Cook chops for 5 - 6 min each side, or until cooked to your liking.
